The Environment and Watershed Management programme fosters responsible stewardship of natural resources, supporting sustainable ecosystems. Under Humanitarian Action, CDT delivers timely, effective assistance to vulnerable communities facing emergencies, alleviating human suffering. The Food and Nutrition Security Action pillar promotes innovative agricultural practices and nutritional interventions to secure livelihoods and improve health. Collaborative, Inclusive, and Community-Driven Implementation Strategy

Chenjedzo Community Development Trust (CDT) employs a collaborative implementation strategy built on strategic partnerships, community engagement, and evidence-based interventions. By partnering through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with universities, research institutions, local governance structures, and private-sector stakeholders, CDT integrates diverse expertise to enhance humanitarian service delivery. Its inclusive community dialogues serve as platforms for diverse stakeholders—including youth, faith-based groups, businesses, and grassroots leaders—to collectively identify issues and co-develop solutions, ensuring broad ownership and validation of interventions.
CDT prioritizes grassroots-driven Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) to empower local actors in data collection, analysis, and decision-making, promoting accountability and sustainability in humanitarian efforts. Working within existing structures, CDT deliberately targets interventions that address climate resilience, disaster preparedness, environmental sustainability, food security, and youth empowerment. These initiatives are continuously informed by digital profiling, rigorous research, and development, with an intentional focus on gender responsiveness and the safeguarding of vulnerable populations to ensure equity, protection, and meaningful community participation.
