Our Mandate

Chenjedzo Community Development Trust (CDT) is a non-political, pracademic community development thinktank committed to linking institutions of higher learning with communities to strengthen humanitarian service delivery and drive evidence-based, innovative solutions. Rooted in factism over activism, CDT facilitates inclusive dialogue with stakeholders—ranging from grassroots leaders to academia—to address pressing socio-economic and environmental challenges. Through integrated research, policy engagement, and targeted interventions, CDT promotes resilience, youth empowerment, climate action, and sustainable development across communities.
